AMPLIFIED: Band
Project type
Soundtrack Development/Sound Design
Date

Description
The “Band” chapter highlights the individual members of a rock band, exploring how each contributes to the collective sound. For this concept, I created a song edit using stems from an original rock recording, with each section emphasizing a different instrument and performer.
During this stage of development, as song rights had not yet been secured, I utilized AI to deconstruct “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” by The Rolling Stones, crafting an example edit that demonstrates the potential structure and feel of the final composition. Another iteration of this chapter features Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”, with the tracks separated to showcase each band member’s part. This iterative approach allowed me to experiment creatively while illustrating how the audio could dynamically support the visual storytelling.
Amplified, developed with Rolling Stone and Brand New World Studios and debuted at the Illuminarium in Las Vegas, is an immersive audio-visual exploration of rock ’n’ roll culture. I contributed by designing foundational audio for each chapter, including atmospheric textures and musical transitions, building each mix from scratch using still images and creative direction. Collaborating closely with writers and producers, I refined the sound through multiple iterative rounds to support the show’s evolving narrative and emotional arc.
